just a quick question can i use original inner outer german bearings with the 498680 – Wide 5 Lowered Link Pin Drum to Disc Brake Conversion Kit, fits ’50-’65 Bug & Ghia. Thanks

Hi Steven,

Thank you for your interest in our AC Industries disc brake kits.

On the 498680 front 5 x 205 kit with lowered disc spindles, this kit uses lowered spindles that convert the front rotors to a later ball joint style rotors.  Therefore, this kit will use wheel bearings from a 1969 and new Beetle.  So no, the stock bearing from your 1962 will not work on this brake kit.
