Kolbenschmidt camshaft bearings were the OEM manufacturer for Volkswagen in Germany back in the day. These camshaft bearings are now made in Brazil, but they remain a top-quality set. These camshaft bearings are designed to fit 1200-1600cc VW air-cooled engines.

- Early 1200cc motors did not use cam bearings. The cam rode right on the saddle of the engine block. The buyer needs to confirm if your 1200cc motor requires cam bearings before ordering.
- Due to the interchangeability of the VW motors, we indicate that this item is compatible with more years than the factory production. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to confirm the accuracy of their order. So Cal Imports will not be responsible for return shipping costs for wrong-ordered parts
