Hi. I am trying to wire in an aftermarket speedo and the aftermarket speedo has a wire for LH turn and a wire for RH turn.

as I understand the stock Speedo has a ground and one wire going to the bum center of the Speedo.
how can I wire the two new speedo wires into the stock blinker relay or can it be done? What would be the correct relay terminals to wire to? Would I need a different relay.
can you provide a sketch to follow?
thanks in advance.

Hi Elvis,

I understand what you are trying to accomplish.  If it were me working on a 1966, I would find the turn switch wire coming through the dash.  There is a black wire with a green stripe and a black wire with a white stripe.  These are the wires going to the left and right blinker lights.  I would tie into these two wires and run them to your speedo.  It’s super easy and simple to do.  I have attached a link below to a 1966 wiring harness that is in color to help you.
