Does one buy two of the same listed bushings for the steering dampener replacement ?

Hi Victor,

Thank you for your question. On the 1971-1974 Super Beetle, there is a replaceable bushing in the pitman are, part #113425117.  There is a bushing at the end of the steering damper, but this bushing is serviced by replacing the damper, part #113425021J.
