Is the ’73 Bug manual shift rod the same as ’73 Bug autostick shft rod?

Hi Gee,

The simple answer is no. The Autostick shift rod is a little shorter and the coupler is at a small bit of an angle in comparison to the 4-speed shift rod. We do offer a special coupler that allows the autostick shift rod to be used with the 4-speed manual transmission when doing a conversion. See part #311798211SP
