Disc brake hub (bolt pattern) re-drilling services.
Hello, I have a disc brake conversion on my 78 Superbeetle. I am looking to have the bolt pattern on the hubs changed from the original 4×130 to 4×100 to accommodate my new wheels. Is this a service that you offer ?
Grrett,
If the kit uses the standard Ghia rotors and calipers, yes we should be able to help you.
A 4 x 100 lug pattern is a custom drill pattern. You will need to order the following:
2 pcs of the blank front rotor, #113407075B
https://socalautoparts.com/product/brake-rotor-front-blank-pattern/
1 of the special pattern drill, #PATDRILL

When you place your order, on the note line, please type in that you want the 4 x 100 lug pattern and how you want the lug hole finished.
I would recommend drilling and tapping the lug holes to 14mm x1.5 for screw in studs. In doing this, it gives you the widest choice on what screw in lug stud to use. We offer the following wheel studs in 14mm, bought each, separately:
610102, 14mm x ½, https://socalautoparts.com/product/wheel-stud-m14-1-5-to-1-2in-20-screw-in-style-for-4-lug-chevy-ford-style-wheels/
610113, 14mm x 12mm, https://socalautoparts.com/product/wheel-stud-m14-1-5-to-m12-1-5-screw-in-style-for-4-lug-drums-rotors/
601111, 14mm x 14mm, https://socalautoparts.com/product/wheel-stud-m14-1-5-to-m14-1-5-x-38mm-screw-in-style-for-4-lug-style-wheels/
