I am considering purchasing the AC Industries Wide 5 No Hassle Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit for 1964-1967 Bus/T2 – Part #498560. The kit comes with a dual circuit master cylinder and I will keeping the rear drums on the bus. My question is does the master cylinder need to be modified for residual pressure on the front discs or do I need a residual pressure valve for the front disc kit?

Hi Bud,

The master cylinder that is included in the #498560 kit has a modified residual check valve for the front brake circuit making it ready to install!
