You offer “Exhaust Studs with Copper

Clad nuts”.  Will the same studs work for the intake manifold?

Also, what is the advantage of copper clad nuts?

Hi Patrick,

Yes, you can use this same 8mm exhaust stud on a dual-port head at the intake.  The exhaust studs are a few mm longer than the stock length stud at the intake port.

The copper clad nut helps keep the nut from rusting onto the stud.  It is also a 12mm hex instead of the standard 13mm on most 8mm nuts.  The smaller size allows for more clearance making installation easier!
