Outlet Diameter on Heater Box

Hello I am in search of heater boxes for my 1967 VW Deluxe Bus.  Do you know the outlet diameter on your “Ultra Heavy Duty Heater Box Kit Gray Powder Coated with Hardware?”  I believe the ‘67 needs a 50mm (2 inches) opening.   I see you specified it can be used on that year and model but if it isn’t 50mm it will leak.  Yes it would work but wouldn’t be correct and wouldn’t work properly.   Please let me know if this is correct for my bus

Hi Scott,

The outlet diameter on our AC Industries heater boxes, where the bellow tube hooks up to move the hot air from the heater box to the body, is the factory 60mm.  I did a bit of research on the correct diameter for a Bus, I have confirmed that all Buses, 1962-1971, should be 60mm.  According to my data, the 50mm should fit 1961 and earlier Buses without fresh air style heater boxes.
