Redline/Weber 34 PICT-3

Greetings!
I was looking for a new 34 Pict-3 Carburetor for my 71′ Super Beetle i found this Redline/Weber on your site. I had some trouble with some EMPI carburetors so I want to know more about this carburetor before purchasing.
What does it means that the carburetor is blueprinted by Redline/Weber? I guess that originally the carburetor is from another manufacturer but is reassemble by Redline/Weber? Hope you could give me some more clarification on this just to be sure it has a good quality since i will send it to Costa Rica.

Hi Jose,
You’re asking very valid questions. Redline is a company here in the USA that is the main importer of Weber Carburetors. It is safe to say they are the leading authority on performance carburetors for the VW air cooled market. Using this expertise, Redline imports 34 pict 3 carburetor from a quality manufacture in China. I say this because there are many manufactures of carburetors in China and some much better than others! I’m not here to say negative things about our competition, I will only stand on the proven quality that Redline is known for!
Redline takes the brand new carburetors and completely disassembles it, cleans and inspects all parts, deburrs and cleans out all of the passages, then reassembles the carburetor with their quality parts. The carburetors also comes with a couple of extra idle jets to help dial it in to your motor! As an added bonus Redline gives an 800 phone number that goes direct to their tech department to help you should you have any questions about the carburetor. Lastly, Redline gives a 1 year warranty on these carburetors! As far as I know, Redline is the only company that offers a warranty on their carbs!
