I have a’60 Beetle with a 1600 motor and CB maxi 2 oil filter pump. Will this muffler fit?

Hi Ernest,

I have looked into your question.  I believe the oil pump you are referring to has the in and out oil fittings for the full flow of the oil system right at the pump.  If this is the case, using the TriMil 310221 style exhaust will be no different than using a stock muffler.  The concern the installer should have is to keep the oil hoses away from close contact with the muffler so as not to overheat the engine oil.
