I need to know what size flexible fuel line to buy from the tank to the engine. Measuring the tank outlet I get 6.5mm and the fuel pump gives me the same, 6.5mm so I am thinking 7 mm fuel line?

Hi Richard,

All VW air-cooled Bugs, Ghias, Buses, and Things with carbureted motors use a 5mm fuel hose throughout the car.  As for the measurements that you gave, keep in mind that the hose will be smaller than what you are installing it on so that the hose has a snug fit.
