There are several tires listed for the 68 Beetle on your website. Do they all fit the standard 4.5×15 rims?

Hello Philip,

The wheels on your 1968 would have been originally 4” wide.  If you have 4 ½” wide wheels they would have had to be replaced by 1972 and later wheels or aftermarket wheels.

This being said, either the 4” or 4 ½” wheels will not accommodate all of our different size tires.  On the 185, 195, or 205 size tires, these should have a 5 ½” or wider wheel to properly allow the sidewall of the tire to sit correctly.
