Aluminum Engine Case, 90.5/92mm Bore, Stroke Clearance to 86mm, Full Flow, Cut for Sand Seal
This new, heavy-duty aluminum alloy case are becoming increasingly popular among the big engine crowd. Extra strengthening material has been added around the cylinder bases and around the center main bearing. Based on the O.E. VW engine case, this aluminum case will fit Bug, Ghia, Type 3, Thing, and Bus (Thru ’71) as a bolt-in replacement. This brand-new aluminum case comes with both 8mm and 10mm case savers for the head studs. The case has been cleared for up to 86mm stroker crank, bored for 90.5-92 mm pistons & cylinders, and is drilled and tapped for a full flow oil system, cut for a sand seal, and shuffle pins installed on center main saddles. Some cleanup work may be required before the final assembly. Sold each.
