Note: VW converted all cars to 12 volts in 1967, but with so many of the 66 and older VWs now having been converted from 6 volts to 12 volts, we show this coil fitting all years. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to know what voltage coil their car needs BEFORE they buy. DO NOT order this coil if your car has a 6-volt electrical system.
