Cylinder head rebuilt dual port for 85.5 or 87 pistons
Description: Brand new cylinder heads with standard plug holes that take 14mm ½ ” reach spark plug, part #W8AC. This head comes complete and assembled ready to install with 35.5mm intake valves and 32mm exhaust valves. Sold each.
So. Cal. Imports offers original VW OE heads that are rebuilt here in the USA. The original core heads are completely disassembled, cleaned and glass beaded, repaired, new valve guides installed and exhaust valves replaced. A multiple angle cut is done on the valve seats and valve face. The heads are resurfaced to give a new seating face for the piston cylinders and any damaged studs are replaced. The heads are then completely rebuilt and assembled. Nothing beats the quality of the VW OE heads! Sold each.

NOTE: This head was originally installed on Beetles 1971-1974 and Buses in 1971. Can be used on Beetles, 1975-1979 if the car has been converted to carburation. This being said, with VW’s, many parts have been interchanged. As a buyer, you will need to know what parts you need to order, but know that we are here to assist you in this process!
