Here’s a direct replacement floor-mount dimmer switch for the early Type 1 Volkswagens. Fits all Type 1’s through 1965.
Note: This switch has push-on terminals. On 1960 and older, the original terminals are held tight with a compression screw. Wiring ends must be updated to use this dimmer switch.
