The extra length of these dowels provides a deeper reach into the crankshaft and gives you superior torsional strength to withstand the higher torques of high-performance engines. A must for any big motor! The larger diameter 11/32″ dowel can also be used to restore a crankshaft that has been damaged due to the flywheel coming loose. Longer and stronger, to help hold your flywheel in place. Just drill the crank dowel pinholes and install the long reach 11/32″ dowel pins. Sold as set.
