Left Rear Drum Brake Backing Plate, Rebuilt OE Fits 1965-1967 Bug and Ghia. Sold each.
So. Cal. Imports starts with good rebuilt OE German-made backing plate cores, and we check for damage, integrity, and straightness. Once the core is determined to be serviceable, the backing plate is then sandblasted and painted with a gloss black paint.
Note: This backing plate differs from the 1958-1964 version. The difference is on the block where the brake shoe adjuster inserts. The block from 1965 to 1967 is square, whereas the 1958 to 1964 backing plate adjuster block is rounded.
