Right Rear Drum Brake Backing Plate, Rebuilt OE, Fits 1958-1964 Bug and Ghia. Sold each.
So. Cal. Imports starts with good, rebuilt OE German-made backing plate cores, and we check for damage, integrity, and straightness. Once the core is determined to be serviceable, the backing plate is then sandblasted and painted with a gloss black paint.
Note: This backing plate is different from the 1965-1967. The difference is on the block where the brake shoe adjuster inserts. The block on a 1958-1964 is rounded, whereas the 1965-1967 backing plate adjuster block is square.
