Front LH or RH Drum Brake Backing Plate, Used OE, Fits 1966-1967 Bug and Ghia. Sold each.
So. Cal. Imports starts with good used German-made backing plate cores, and we check for damage, integrity, and straightness. Once the core is determined to be serviceable, the backing plate is then sandblasted and coated in a black satin finish.
Fitment Note: Fits 1966-1967 Bug & Ghia, front left & right sides.
Note: This backing plate does not have brake shoe adjustment holes. On the 66-67 the brake shoe adjustment is made through a hole in the face of the wide 5 brake drum. If you want to adjust the brakes from the back side, you will need to buy the later backing plate, #131609139U
