Description
Fuel pump rods ride on the eccentric lobe of your distributor shaft to actuate mechanical fuel pumps. A must-have component to operate mechanical fuel pumps. This part was originally produced for the 1973-1974 cars that cam equipped with an alternator style charging system. Due to the popularity of alternator conversion kits, many cars have been changed or updated. Please see notes below before ordering. Make sure of your application so as not to get the wrong length pump rod. Sold each.

Note: Using a pump with the wrong length fuel pump push rod can damage the fuel pump arm, ruining the pump. It is the responsibility of the installer to correctly measure the rod and determine that the existing pump will work correctly with this rod.
