This inexpensive performance clutch pressure plate might just be what you need for your more than stock motor! The pressure plate is made to work with both the early or late design throw-out bearing. To use with a 1971 and new style bearings with the sleeve, remove the spiral lock from the ring and remove it. Failure to do this will cause the motor to appear frozen upon installation in the car.
Note: Due to the interchangeability of motors in a VW, we show this pressure plate fit more years than the factory replacement parts.
