Silverline bearings were the OEM manufacturer for Volkswagen of Mexico. These bearings will fit 1200cc-1600cc VW air-cooled motors. For the last decade, Silverline bearings have been the engine builders’ choice when it comes to quality.
Note: This is the rod bearing to use if your crankshaft has been ground to accept a Chevy-style rod bearing. It will not work with a stock-style VW journal. Fits most classic VW Years and Models
