Transmission Side Gear, Swing Axle, Used OE Volkswagen. So Ca Imports takes these gears, cleans them, inspects them for cracks or defects, and then polishes them. This 17-tooth gear will only work with 11-tooth spider gears. Sold each, two required per transmission.
Note: This gear will only work with the fully synchro 1-piece case transmissions that started use in the 1961 model year. This gear will not work with the split-case trans used in 1960 and older cars.
Important: Due to the interchangeability of parts on a VW, So Cal Imports shows this item fitting more years than the factory offered. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to know what they need to order. So Cal Imports will not pay for return shipping for wrong-ordered parts.
