If you own a 1967-1968 Beetle or Karmann Ghia that has a two-prong emergency flasher switch, you can use this VW Flasher Relay Conversion Kit. This kit comprises a 12-volt, 9-prong flasher relay that operates the emergency flasher/hazard lights and a 2-prong relay that operates turn signals. The conversion relay comes with a detailed wiring diagram that makes installation easy.
If you have a 1968 Beetle or Karmann Ghia with a 7 or 9-prong emergency flasher switch, you cannot use this relay. Instead, you need a 3-prong flasher relay part# 111953227D or 4-prong flasher relay part# 211953215C.
Application Note: This kit can also be used on 1966 Beetles and Ghias when converting your car to 12-volt systems.
