Sales Associate Details

So. Cal. Imports is looking for an energetic and highly-motivated Sales Associate who is interested in working in a dynamic, fast paced environment specializing in classic VW restoration and performance parts. This is the ideal role for a person who truly cares about providing outstanding customer care and has a passion for classic air-cooled VW vehicles!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As an Automotive Counter Parts Sales person, you are seen as the “face of the company” and the go-to person as soon as our customers enter our store.

Welcome customers into our retail store and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
Use technology (POS, computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system
Provide intelligent answers and solutions for our customers
Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members to answer customer questions
Experience in a VW parts store, retail store, auto body/collision a plus
Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems a plus
Experience working for an Independently owned auto parts store is a plus

The Keys To Success For This Opportunity

Genuinely enjoy helping our retail customers with their VW parts and service questions
Have gained your parts experience by working in the automotive industry or have gained
your experience repairing and restoring cars & trucks through the years
You are willing to learn all things classic VW if you don’t already have a background in
automotive parts
Want to join a team where you can learn and grow your career
Experience and/or passion for classic VWs is a Huge Plus!

Qualifications and Skills Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related
experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Classic VW enthusiast or mechanic is a Huge Plus!
Must be able to communicate fluently and effectively with coworkers and supervisors
Authorization to work in the United States (Required)
Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but
not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending
assignments on time
Fluent in Spanish a Plus!

So. Cal. Imports is looking for an energetic and highly-motivated Warehouse Associate who is interested in working in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment specializing in classic VW auto parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manages packaging materials, inventories and packaging of products to be shipped
Maintains and organizes the dock and the inventory areas
Performs hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization
Ensures that items are properly packed and labeled accurately
Checks products for defects and accuracy
Perform double-checks for accuracy
Provide assistance to our receiving team
Follow all safety requirements
Participate in inventory cycle counts
Stock shelves as inventory arrives
Maintains warehouse organization
Professional communication with customers
Ability to write customer returns accurately
Performs other duties as assigned
Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but
not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending
assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable.
Must be able to communicate effectively with fellow peers and supervisors.
